Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer Intern at SmartLocus, you will work on updating and automating the creation of Docker containers within our data collection and control infrastructure. You will increase your knowledge of operational cloud-based DevOps and apply it to real-world commercial applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop a new automation framework which will
- Automate and orchestrate the creation and spin-up and control of Docker containers
- Automate and orchestrate customer on-boarding for our IoT data collection and control infrastructure
- Test, debug and profile the new code to determine and mitigate potential dataflow and processing bottlenecks
- Report and deliver the results of your work
Suggested Skills
- Knowledge and experience with Jeeves or a similar automation framework
- Experience programming with Python
- Knowledge and experience with Docker
- Experience with SQL, MySQL, SingleStore or other RDBMS
- Knowledge and/or experience with Kafka
